OUR MISSION

Started at Basecamp

Summit Ridge was born at 9,200 feet in a wind-battered tent in the North Cascades. Two climbers, sick of gear that failed above the treeline, started designing what they wished existed — jackets that actually breathed during steep ascents, packs that distributed weight on scrambles, layers that survived five days without a wash.

We test every product on real trails, in real weather, at real altitude. Nothing ships until it survives our field protocol: 72 hours of continuous use across variable terrain and conditions. If it tears, leaks, chafes, or quits, it goes back to the drawing board.

FROM THE TRAIL

Summit Voices

Alpine Shell Jacket
“I wore the Alpine Shell through three days of sideways rain on the PCT. Bone dry inside. I've retired every other rain jacket I own.”
Trail Running Pack 30L
“The Trail Running Pack 30L is the first pack that doesn't bounce on technical descents. I ran 18 miles of switchbacks and forgot it was there.”
Ridgeline Midlayer
“Summited Rainier in the Ridgeline Midlayer. Wind was gusting 45 mph at the crater rim and I stayed warm without overheating on the climb up.”
