Our Workshop

Everything here is made by hand, a few hundred at a time.

We started Iron & Leaf in a leaky Portland garage in 2014 — one wheel, one small kiln, and a stubborn belief that the objects you live alongside should be honest about how they were made.

Our potters throw every planter and vessel on the wheel. Our smith forges each tool from carbon steel and seasons the handles in linseed oil. Nothing is mass-pressed, and nothing is meant to be thrown away.

"The planters arrived with a glaze I keep catching myself staring at. Things this honest are getting hard to find."
