Bramble & Bone

Bramble & Bone works out of the second floor of an old net loft in Astoria, Oregon, above a shop that still repairs crab pots. Two people run it, a saddler who spent eleven years on horse tack and her nephew, who does the edge finishing. They buy vegetable tanned harness leather one hide at a time, cut collars from the back where the fibre is tightest, and set solid brass hardware by hand. The store sells one collar in four sizes.
