Ninety Ohm

Ninety Ohm builds desktop headphone amplifiers on the third floor of a former textile mill in Lowell, Massachusetts. Two people run it: a technician who spent nine years repairing hearing aids, and a machinist who cuts the enclosures from aluminium bar stock on a mill older than either of them. Every unit is bench tested for an hour, and the measured numbers ship inside the box on a printed card with the serial number written on it.
