Cold Forged Sterling Band

Quiet Anvil

Quiet Anvil is one woman and one bench in a rented garage behind a tyre shop in Bisbee, Arizona. She trained as a farrier, quit at thirty one, and now works sterling and argentium the same way she worked shoes: cold, by hammer, no casting and no wax. A band starts as a length of square wire and gets about four hundred blows before it is round. She sells one ring in eleven sizes and answers her own email.
