A single ended valve amplifier for headphones between 32 and 600 ohms, with a milled aluminium chassis, a stepped attenuator in place of a potentiometer, and two 6SN7 valves standing clear of the top plate. It draws 41 watts at idle and takes about twenty minutes to settle, which is why the volume knob has a detent you can count in the dark.
