Questions about the money
Is $29 really once, not a month?
Once. It buys one AI-designed store for your account: three builds from your brief so you can keep the one you like, and unlimited free editing of whichever you keep. Nothing recurs unless you choose the white-label plan.
What do the three builds mean?
The generator does not produce one right answer, it produces one of many possible stores from the same brief. Builds run one at a time. Look at the first; if it is not right, write what to keep and what to change, and the next build takes that into account. Up to three, and you keep the one you like. If none are right, tell us and we refund it.
What is the free theme, and what is the catch?
A complete, installable Shopify 2.0 theme, with product, collection, cart and search pages, whose homepage is a single-product landing page with your product and copy on it. It is built without AI, so it costs us nothing and we can give it away. The catch is only that the homepage is one page around one product, and it uses curated photography rather than generated imagery. The multi-page, AI-designed homepage is the $29 store.
Does editing cost anything after I buy?
Editing in the Shopify theme editor is free forever, and so are our layout controls: section toggles, size, palette and hero switches. The one edit that costs money is asking the AI to rewrite a section for you, which is a separate paid action.
I am on the old Builder or Pro subscription. What changes?
Nothing. Your plan keeps working exactly as it did, with the same credits and features. Those plans are no longer sold to new customers, but they are not being taken away from you.
Do I need a Shopify store to buy?
No. Build the theme first and install it when your store exists. The download page links to where to start a Shopify store if you do not have one yet.
